- We ask that you please arrive at the departure boat ramp 10-15 minutes prior to launch time so we can go over the rules, take care of payments and have your waiver signed. Guests who wish to not sign the waiver, may not take part on any airboat adventures with Green Boat Tour Company.
- We recommend clients use the restrooms prior to their adventure.
- All children 6 years of age and under must wear a Coast Guard approved life jacket, which will be provided.
- Ear muffs will be provided. Adults are not required to wear ear muffs however, children 11 years old and under must wear ear protection. Feel free to bring your own ear protection.
- We will do our best to accommodate clients if they have a preference of which boat they'd like to ride on, but we can not guarantee a specific boat will be available at a specific time.
- The boat used for your tour will also be dependent upon the number and size of guests. We can take clients of all sizes on airboat adventures! However, to ensure a smooth, safe and comfortable ride, it will be helpful if when booking or communicating with us regarding an upcoming adventure, you mention if any clients with your party are of a larger build.
- Wear comfortable shoes & clothing. Your shoes MIGHT get wet when get on/off the boat. If you wear a skirt or dress, we recommend to wear shorts under them. Pants/leggings as well as a light sweater is recommended during cooler temperatures and for younger clients as the wind can make it feel much colder than it actually is.
- Feel free to wear hats and sunglasses. Be advised that while riding, the wind likes to try to blow hats off client’s heads. You may need to turn it around or consider holding it if this becomes an issue. Ear muffs hold hats on nicely. If your hat does blow away, you risk losing it or even having it become destroyed as it blows through the boat’s propeller. Do not wear your sunglasses on top of your head while riding; they will likely blow off. It is recommended to wear sunglasses during your airboat adventure, as they help to keep the wind (and sometimes bugs/debris) out of your eyes.
- There are great sights you may want to take pictures of! Feel free to bring your camera and/or phone to take pictures as you ride along. Remember to hold onto those items as if they are dropped, they risk breaking or ending up in the water (we likely will not be able to get it back if it goes into the water).
- We often see gators and other wildlife along our tours. We will do our best to get close enough to view clearly and allow for great picture opportunities. We will NOT make any attempts to catch or touch any of the gators/wildlife while they are in their natural habitats. You MAY NOT feed any wildlife. If clients are caught feeding wildlife on our airboat adventures, their tour will come to an end immediately and all clients in the party will be returned directly to the boat ramp. This is for our safety, your safety and the safety of the wildlife.
- We know everyone would love the opportunity to see wildlife. While we will do our best to help our clients spot creatures and sights here and there, we can not guarantee what will be showing their teeth, feathers or fins on any given day.
- We ask that you please NOT bring any extra items along with you to help reduce the risk of loss and/or damage to your items. Please throw away all trash/cups prior to boarding the airboat.
- Green Boat Tour Company is NOT liable or responsible for any lost or damaged items during the tour. Please keep items you choose to bring along to a minimum and ensure you keep them secure during the ride. This not only helps keep your personal items safe but it also helps ensure our boats remain undamaged as well.
- Depending on the adventure you'll be going on, you will be sent additional guidelines/rules for you and your additional guests, to help ensure everyone's safety!
We appreciate your understanding in following these guidelines/rules. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
